ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF Dean Howland, Wiesleyan. '06, has been asso- ciated with the college in almost every capacity, from undergraduate to dean, including two years as Act- ing President. A member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi, he is Professnr of Mathematics. A highly capable administrator, the dean, With :1 twinkle in his eye, lets us know that our latest excuse for cut- ting class is not quite good enough. Professor Thomson, 0f the History department, has been for the past year Associate Dean in addi- tion to his duties as Dean Freshmen and Chairman of Counsellors. W'ell-knuwn 11nd well-liked by all, Mr. Thomson has a more difficult task than usual this year, with three entering classes instead of the usual ones Director of Admissiuns BischufT, Assistant Pm- fessor of Government, also has his hands full with the three freshman groups. A graduate of Wiesleyan in 1927, Drt Bischnff knows the college extremely well from all aspects.
