Mr. Kilby, Lorraine Semos, Marion DiGeuova, Bob Holdway INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CLUB The International Relations Club of Wesley Junior College was formed the second semester of this year, sponsored by the Social Science Department, under Dean V. R, Kilby. The Club is affiliated with the Carnegie Endowment for Inter- national Peace. Speakers and Discussion Leaders for the bi-monthly meetings are college students and civic leaders of Delaware. The Carnegie Enclownient presents to each club, twice a year, recent books on current affairs to be placed in the college Library. The officers are: President-Robert G. l if l WESLEY ECHOES This year there came to Xvesley something that we hope will become an institution. It was the VVESLEY ECI-IOES. The first major change in the paper was the change in appearance, a permanent masthead. The stall of the paper set forth a series of schedules that they hoped to meet. Much to the surprise of the complete student body, the ECHOES met these schedules, and each issue improved with experience. A write-up of this YCZIIJS ECHOES would not be complete without a generous round of applause to Miss Catherine P. Shaffer, our faculty adviser. It was through her that the staff learned much about college journalism. She was at all times an untiring worker and a pillar of strength throughout the year. In this, the yearbook of the Class of '48, we Sophomores who worked on the paper want to wish the future editors and staff of the WESLEY ECI-IOES as much luck as we have had this year. Its specific purpose is to promote closer fellowship with God, spirit of brotherhood among students, and spiritual aid and guidance. This organization is responsible for various services and contributions. During the year the W.S.C.A. has held regular worship and discussion meetings. Vesper services were held each Wednesday night. The Com- munion service for the graduates held the last Sunday of the school year is under its direction. As Wesley grows the Wesley Student Christian Association will expand upward and outward through the inspiration of its services and its members.
