l if l WESLEY ECHOES This year there came to Xvesley something that we hope will become an institution. It was the VVESLEY ECI-IOES. The first major change in the paper was the change in appearance, a permanent masthead. The stall of the paper set forth a series of schedules that they hoped to meet. Much to the surprise of the complete student body, the ECHOES met these schedules, and each issue improved with experience. A write-up of this YCZIIJS ECHOES would not be complete without a generous round of applause to Miss Catherine P. Shaffer, our faculty adviser. It was through her that the staff learned much about college journalism. She was at all times an untiring worker and a pillar of strength throughout the year. In this, the yearbook of the Class of '48, we Sophomores who worked on the paper want to wish the future editors and staff of the WESLEY ECI-IOES as much luck as we have had this year.
