20lStudent Life fTopJ Lined up for the annual Pigskin jubilee UIL marching band contest are buses from throughout the Valley. ffiightj Taking inventory, Alma Quintero waits for Weslacois turn to perform on Barbee Field. 24 Arrive Valley Bands Gather For Pigskin Jubilee Twenty-four Valley bands arrived at WHS campus for the annual Pigskin Jubilee on Nov. 21. Each year Weslaco hosts the marching contest. A minimum of five minutes and a maximum of eight minutes are allowed by University lnterscholastic League QUILQ rules for each hand. A hand could receive a one to five rating with a one the highest. Both WHS and Mary Hoge Junior High received a one rating.
