l98l Class Prophecy One day while I was cleaning out one of my dungy, dirty closets, l came across an old high school yearbook. lt was rather faded, but I could make out the year to be I98l. As l was looking through the worn- out pages of the yearbook, I came to the page of the seniors of that long ago year. I could barely read the names under the not so colored pictures. As I was making out the names I did recall that that year there was a rather small class of only 4 mighty seniors. As I recalled the names, I began to think what each senior had set out to do when he or she left high school and what they had conqured in their lives. I remembered going to the big Super Bowl last Sunday and recalled the once in a lifetime play Cthat won the game, of coursej which was a spectacular, marvelous field goal of 90 yards I9 Va ft. by one of the 4 seniors, who else but Brian Raney. Of course, Brian's name will go down in history, but to Brian it was just another one of his fantastic kicks. Another one of the seniors, Jennifer Baehler, who had her mind set to go to college to get her MRS. degree. with much disappointment, the first. second, and third colleges she tried were hopeless, and at this time she is trying something new - and all male college! The third senior, Cindy White, has just accepted the position of the new editor of the National Enquirer. She has accepted this position so that with her Lawyer's degree she can defend the Enquirer on its latest court case. The last senior is Neil Foos, who after graduation got a very important job as speech writer for the President of the United States. After Neil wrote his first speech for the President, which was a big joke and the President got laughed out of office, Neil is now with much sorrow, a stand-up comedian. Each senior may not have done or accomplished what he or she had set out to do, but all have made their mark in this world.
