1st. SEMESTER OFFICERS SEATED: Darlene Huelskoetter, secretary; Margie Peter, president; Pat Bassler, vice- president; Neal Bartels, treasurer. STANDING: Larry Schuetz, class reporter; Milton Luginbuhl, Lola Swinney, student council. Senior Officers and Sponsors The Class of ’60 has been together only three years instead of the usual four. The reason for this was that in 1957, the Trenton and New Baden High Schools consolidated to establish the Wesclln School District. This has not in any way hampered our enjoyment of high school years. As soph- omores, the year was filled with many new friendships. We were no longer NewBadenites or Trentonians, but Wesclinites working to- gether to achieve our goals. Our Junior year was filled with still more memorable events. We were the first Junior class to try our hand at dramatics; we gave a play. It was entitled Headin' For A Weddin ' and was extremely successful. Also, we spon- sored the Junior-Senior Prom, the theme of which was Indian Summer. As our final year at Wesclin opened, we began to make extensive plans concerning our Senior trip. This year we also gave another play, Finders Creepers. Our trip to Washington, D.C. was a most enjoyable and educational trip for all who went. When we returned, we found the class of '61 feverishly working on this year's prom. The decorations were beautiful, and everyone enjoyed a wonder- ful evening in Blue Hawaii. Shortly after this came the climax of our four most enjoyed years of work—Graduation! We had started the 1957 term with forty on our class roll, and thirty-one stepped forward to receive their much desired diplomas. Donald Wehrle Sponsor 2nd SEMESTER OFFICERS
