GIRLS' BASKETBALL 7TH GRADE COUNTY RUNNERS - UP 112 - lj: ROW ONE: L. Carroll, S. Johnson, J. Mansfield, M. Wyatt: ROW TWO: A. Digman, S. True, K. Sayre, B. Faust, T. Smith, K. South, K. Royal, D. Ditzenberger, ROW THREE: B. Smoker, K. Jackson, K. Harris, B. Givens, L. LaPradd, K. Holmes, S. Johnson, A. Love - coach. The 7th grade girls' team went undefeated until the last game of the County. Every once in a while, Coach Love would yell at us, but it all turned out for the better. Hard work and hard practice really paid off for us during the season. We beat North - Del and Yorktown and were the only undefeated team going into the County Tournament. But unfortunately, since we beat North - Del during the season, they were really up for the game and were prepared to conquer. Although we didn't get the County title, we feel everyone on our team enjoyed having an undefeated season and a very devoted coach. Stephanie Johnson, Julie Mansfield, Kris Royal The Sth grade girls' basketball team was all fired up and ready for its first win on December 6. The team had been practicing for 3 - 4 weeks and was beginning to look decent. However, after all those HARD practices, we ONLY won three regular games and one tourney game.
