New students are Margie Maxwell and Joan Blaylock. We initiated the Freshmen about the second week of school with the usual mess and fuss involved. We took second place in every contest at the Carnival and had the novelty stand this year. Our King and Queen candidates were: Rosemary Cook and Leander Veigh. During the year we lost Carolyn Lauer, Donnie Cunningham, and Joe Wonsewitz. The Sophomores gave us a thorough initiation three weeks after school started. We gave them a party and dance in April. Our king and queen candidates were Dorothy Grapenthin and Victor Moser, who won the contest.
