For nearly three-score years, Colonel Sondford Sellers was president of Wentworth. He enjoyed one The Acedemy was founded by Stephen G. Wentwerth. scion of o diitiaguished English famity and a prominent Lexington banker, in 1880, as a memorial to his deceased son, Williern Wentworth. Mr. Wentworth immediately vested control of the institution in the hands of a board of frustoei compoced of a duly e l e c ted representative of each of the Evangelical churches of Lexington, and a president.
