It is indeed a pleasure to congratulate you on the successful completion of your academic program at Wentworth Institute. You have fought a good fight and have won a victory in your struggle to reach your graduation goal. The rigorous program in which you have been enrolled has tested your resourceful- ness, your perseverance, and your abilities in order to develop you to the full. You have learned to study, to think, to analyze, and to reach sound conclusions. You have a good educational foundation for your future life as an engineering or industrial technician. You will need to build on this foundation throughout your lifetime if you are to grow to your full potential in service to God and man. You have acquired the habits of regular study. Real success requires continuous growth. Good habits once established remain with us only as we continue to practice them. In this world of constant change, we must guard against obsolescence by seizing every opportunity to learn new things and acquire new skills. It will also be beneficial for you to broaden your educational background through liberal arts courses in the humanities and social sciences. We have made you competent as a technician. You need to learn more about how to live with yourself and with others. An important aspect of this growth is the development of your spiritual strength through regular communion with God. You need four-square growth, 'lin wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. As the years go by, remain loyal to your Alma Mater and to your classmates. Wentworth will need you and you will need Wentworth. As you grow in strength, she will also, for her strength is the sum total of all of those associated with her. You will always be indebted to Wentworth, for your future success will be dependent upon the contribution which she has made to your full develop- ment as a useful member of society. Support your Alma Mater by contributing your time, your energy and your dollars.
