enera! llfljooclworging Prerident: Robert-Bathelmes, BC-1A Secretary: john Coucci, BC-1A During the past, a member of the Woodworking Club was allowed to make any project of his choice. This year, as a means to improve the operation of the club, prospective members were informed that everyone would vote on a project that each member wanted to make for himself. Mr. Rose, our Faculty Advisor, spent several club periods demonstrating the proper use of each power tool with particular stress on safety. Then, once the club officers were elected, the members voted to start the year by making book- cases. Nine teams of two or three men were formed, and the club was underway. The next project was a four-legged stool, and by the end of the year several projects of interest had been completed. 202 W No ,Q C? Q!

7 padlio The radio club maintains and operates an ama- teur radio station in the Electronics Laboratory. Code classes are conducted each year to aid beginners and novices to obtain their radio licenses. New equip- ment, purchased this year to aid in having more members obtain Contact with the outside, includes a new six meter transceiver. The officers for the past year have been Bill Wal- ton, EEE ZD, WIKSI, Presidentg jim Richards, EEE 2C, KIKNH, Vice-Presidentg Edward Srnethurst, EEE ZC, KN IWYI, Secretaryg Bill Zelenakas, EEE ZD, KNIWYG, Treasurer. Our faculty advisor was Mr. Daniel Christensen, WIHPL, who is also the station trustee for the schools radio station, WIPTC. 204 evo Q O! ff!
