This year, as a means to improve the operation of the club, prospective members were informed that everyone would vote on a project that each member wanted to make for himself. Mr. Rose, our Faculty Advisor, spent several club periods demonstrating the proper use of each power tool with particular stress on safety. Then, once the club officers were elected, the members voted to start the year by making book- cases. Nine teams of two or three men were formed, and the club was underway.
