Sandra Joyner, Vice-President, Joan Witty, Secretary, Linda Lynn, Treasurer, Pat Ogle, Reporter, and Harvey Sha.rpe, Annual Representative. Mr. Butler and Mr. Sharpe were our advisors for this year. Betty Cox, Kenneth Stone, and Linda Lynn served on the Student Council. Judi Srnothers, Betty Cox, Marie Rodgers, Kenneth Griffith, Harvey Sharpe, and Don Roberson were wearing Beta Club pins this year. Our c l as s was well-represented in the beauty pa g e ant with Rebecca Wall first runner-up and Betty Cox second runner-up. Joanne Cox, Sandra Joyner, Linda Lynn, and Edith Pyrtle were new members of the varsity basketball team. Betty Cox and Rebecca Wall were elected cheerleaders. Four girls: Sandra Joyner, Judy Vaden, Lois Duke, and Betty Forrest, became members of the Beta Club. We were very proud of Carolyn Moore who was crowned Miss Wentworth High. C. R. We ended our Junior year with our marshals-Marie Rodgers, Chief, Don Roberson, Betty Cox, Judi Smothers, and Betty Forrest- leading the seniors down the aisle with om' rose ch ai n on either side of them. At last as seniors. . . our officers were Jimmy Yeatts, Pre si dent, C. R. The advisors were Mrs. Rankin and Mr. Smith. Kenneth Stone and Joan Witty served on the Student Council with Betty Cox as President. Seven more Senior girls, having met Beta Club standards, were invited into the club. They were Mary Lou Gtmn, linda Lynn, Jeanene Shreve, Kay Stiers, Sandra Strader, Rebecca Wall, and Jane Way.
