A few just seem bereaved. We'll take our place in society And go on to greater height. We'll never forget our Motto, Nor the fighting Blue and White. In the future we may retu.rn From all our glory and fameg And we may look around and wonder Why Wentworth isn't the same. And there will be our Alma Mater, Standing proud where ivies growg The familiar halls remind us Of the class of Sixty-two. We can hold our heads up high Be proud of what we've done, Set our sights for greater goals-- The first one has been won. All the class regret that johnny Doss had to leave this year to finish at Ruffin High School. The selling of advertisements to help finance the cost, the planning of the layout, the making and assembling of the pictures, the proofreading plus numerous other tasks have provided each member of the staff with a share in producing this edition. It has been hard work, but fun, too, to have been a part of the GOLDEN LEAVES staff of 1962. 3 I 2' Seated, left to right: Cheryl Del.ancey, Marie Doyle, Dianne Sharpe, Tommy Butler, Kathryn Williams, Earl Tommy Chesire, Lionel Rudd.
