:wt cwill and geotament We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Sixty of Wentworth High School in the county of Rockingham, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and body do write this document. ARTICLE I To the Faculty: Mr. Hunter: We leave our appreciation for his understanding our problems. Mrs. Rankin: A Senior Class that makes good grades. Mr. Smith: A serious Sociology class. Mrs. Wright: A typing class that will come in and get to work. Mr. Butler: AChemistry class that will not break all his test tubes. Miss Yates: A glee club that will sing something other than rounds. Mrs. Wilkerson: A more co-operative group of escorts for the beauty pageant. Mr. Meador: A smaller printing class. Mrs. Martin: A library class that will do duties quietly. Mr. Phillips: A team that will get home before 12:00. Mr. Sharpe: A class that is willing to clean the shop without fussing. ARTICLE II To the undergraduates: To the Juniors, we leave our loyalty to Mrs. Rankin. To the Sophomores, we leave two more years of study and fun. To the Freshmen, we leave a hard time. Individual Bequests: I, LUCILLE CARTER, leave my ability to play basketball to Gwynn Durham and Jimmie Spencer. I, ARCHIE ROBERTS, leave my ability to wheel a car to Colin Kelly and Kempie King. KATHRYN PAIGE, leave my flirty ways to Buddy Paschal and Martha Taylor. JOE PURGASON, le-ave my position as Senior Class President to either John Dallas or Judy Mayhew. ANN BENNETT, leave I5 pounds to Shirley Pulliam and Norman Denny. DOUGLAS TAYLOR, leave my position as President of the Beta Club to either Richard Cox or Linda Crowder. I, GAYLE EARLES, leave my position as Co-captain of the basketball team to Jean Reynolds. I, FREDDIE RATLIFF, leave my position as Co-captain of the basketball team to Walter Carter or Walter Gunn, whoever works the hardest for it. I, BILL GLASS, leave my Cadillac to Edward Anderson and June Crews. I, EVELYN HAMLETT, leave my position as bus captain of '76 to Linda Smith and Billy Farmer.
