U16 ,Cast LW!! and Testament We, the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty- Six of Wentworth High School, in the county of Rockingham, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind, do write this document. ARTICLE I To the Faculty: Mr. Hunter: Our deepest appreciation for his help and guidance. Mrs. Ranking A Senior Class that's always on time. MI. Harreleson: A Sociology Class without a pest. Mr. Gentry: Our best wishes for a happy family. Miss Edmondson: A stage already decorated. Mr. Sharpe: Someone to teach class when he is away. Mrs. Exum: Some biology students who will not stay more than one year. Mr. Dallas: A good supply of shoe strings and socks. Mrs. Martin: Quiet students in study hall. Miss Albright: A glee club who cooperates. Mrs. Wright: A sixth period shorthand class. ARTICLE II To the Undergraduates: To the Juniors we leave the senior class room. To the Sophomores we leave our ability to be seniors. To the Freshmen we leave the last three years of high school. Individual Senior Bequest: 1. I, Bobby Carter, leave my quiet ways to Edward Wheeler. 2. I, J. C. Paschal, leave my time on any class to Wayne Gunn. 3. I, Alice Forrest, leave my curls to Virginia Hall. 4. I, Carole Harvey, leave my figure to Margaret Adams. 5. I, J. D. Murphy, leave nothing only my goodbys. 6. I, Dillard Wyatt, will not leave my height to Shirley Cayton and Betty Arnold, but I will leave with Bernadina Duke. 7. I, Shelby Barber, leave my job in Newberry's 53a1Oe store to Regina McCollumn. 8. I, Francis Dallas, leave my two front teeth to Ronnie Duncan. 9. I, Ronnie Owen, leave my physic to J. Frank Carrol. I, Joanne Carter, leave my seat on the bench during a game to either Joy Odell or Faye Vernon. I, Curtis Soyars, leave my loving ways to all the girls. I, Gail Murrell, leave my basketball suit to Margie Wall and Hazil Gammon. I, Frank Meador, leave my ability to get dirty in the printing class to Eddie McCollum, Eugene Ingram, and John Kelly. I, Judy Adkins, leave my witty ways to Mary Alice Collins. I, Donald Irving, leave my little car to Shirley Reynolds and Betty Mae Hudson. I, Shirley Cox, leave my famous left hook shot to Mary Burton. I, Frank Hubbard, leave my typewriter in the Commercial room. I, Patricia Walker, leave my flirty ways to Judy Craddock, and Linda Kallem. I, Wayne McCollumn, leave my height to Hurley Quackenbush to add to his. I, Lena Brame, leave my best all-around ability to Lillie Mae Stump. I, Richard Parrish, leave my safe driving to Linda Joyce and Margaret Johnson. I, Barbara Tickle, leave my winning personality to Regina Courmn and Yvonne Odell. I, Donald Puckeet, leave my school books to James Jones and Kenneth Crowder. I, Frederich Hutson, leave my seat in the senior class to David Brown or Thomas Carter. I, Dorthy Huskey, leave my 4th period study hall to Dale Paschal and Ida Stone. I, Donald Scott, leave my position on the bas- ketball team to Wayne Manley. I, Betty Jane Yeatts leave my scatter brain ways to my buddy Nancy Thomas. I, Jimmie Talley, leave my curly hair to Bobby Pegram. I, Dixie Heffinger leave my Cheerleading sweater to either Rose Ann Rose or Nancy Rake- straw. I, Stanford Corumn, leave President of the Senior Class to Hugh Carter or Prentiss Scott. I, Arnold Joyner, leave my ability to get along with girls to Ted Murrell and Donald Heffinger. A N p BOBBY CARTER has replaced Mr. Harrelson teaching Sociology after a seige in college. STANFORD CORUM is now singing with his own band and is doing quite well. FRANCES DALLAS, who is the last to let you down, now owns his own funeral home in Reidsville. FRANK HUBBARD is now driving for the Trailway bus line, and is on time tool FREDERICH HUDSON is now the new manager of Roses 5 8: 10. DONALD PUCKETT and RICHARD PARRISH are the latest patients of our two graduate nurses GAIL MURRELL and DIXIE HEFFINGER. RONNIE OWENS and DOT HUSKEY are running a self-service grocery with the help of their six children. SHIRLEY COX has settled down to one man after her career as a professional basketball player. J. D. MURPHY, who is the new lawyer in Wentworth, has a beautiful secretary working for him, who is she? It's PATRICIA WALKER. ALICE FOREST is living with her husband at Fort Bragg. SHELBY BARBER has become secretary to the Governor of North Carolina. BETTY JANE YEATTS, who was talented in school, has gone far with a movie career. She has just taken over Olive Oil's place. JO ANN CARTER'S voice has certainly taken her places, because she now does singing com- mercials for McCllock's Chain Saw CAROL HARVEY is modeling in New York for a feed sack company. BARBARA TICKLE'S home economics class paid off. She is now a full time COOK. JUDY ADKINS' clowning has taken her to the circus where she is training her own flees. LENA BRAME is now a sewing instructor for the Singer Sewing Machine Company. FRANCES SANDS is running a very successful Old maids home for the graudates of '56. FAY VERNON is following close in Marilyn MOnroe's footsteps, since she too has married Joe Dimaggio. J.C.PASCHALis managinghis own Meadow Dairies afterhe drove the former owner out ofbusiness JO ANN BRAY is helping her husband out in his auto garage during her spare time away from her two children. CURTIS SAWYERS has put Grocho Marks out of business, his show is called Poke's Gag Bag. FRANK MEADOR is coaching a baseball team made up of his own nine boys. ARNOLD JOYNER is still racing, but not with the graduates of '56. He just won first place at the Minniapolis Speed Way. DONALD SCOTT is head man at the Deisel School. WAYNE MCCOLLUM was voted the rnost ambitious member of the Tall Men's League. DONALD IRVING is in critical condition after swallowing a guitar pick. DILLARD WYATT, JIMMY TALLEY and DONALD CROWDER, are now spending their winters in Hawaii in order to see what a heavy frost will do to the grass skirts.
