We the Senior Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty- iive of Wentworth High School, in the county of Rocking- ham, State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and a strong body, having ample knowledge to graduate and take up the toil and hardships of life, do set pen to this document, ARTICLE I To the Faculty: To Mr, Hunter: We leave our deepest appreciation for his help and guidance during our hours of need, To our teachers, we leave many thanks for their leadership and kindness toward us, ln Individual Bequests to the Teachers: Mrs. Rankin: An English Class that has completely overcome sentence fragments and comma errors. Mrs, Exum: A bunch of Seniors that will study quietly in study hall sixth period, Miss Edmondson: An annual staff with more no -how, Mr, Gentry: A class that will not continue to talk and one with no giggling girls, Mrs, Ellis: A class with perfect attendance and no excused absentees, Mr, Harrelson: An agreeable class, Mr, Meador: A class that will love to clean the shop. Mr, Sharpe: A class that will leave all type in the shop and will bring none to the Senior room to throw. Mr. Dallas: Chewing gum for all games next year.
