A valuable organization is the Student Council of Wentworth High School, for in its power is the respon- sibility for regulating school life. Relations between the faculty and students is carried on in a friendly, informal manner through the watchfulness and cooperativeness of the governing body. Members of the Council have hag a busy Fall, Winter and Spring, attending the various tudent Council func- tions in the county and state. The school was well repre- sented at the annual Student Council Convention at Char- lotte, North Carolina. Many members attended the county meetings held at the various schools. The twenty-two members of the Council have learned and are learning a valuable lesson in democracy and in the training of our young people.
