A !7Y 2 lm efzuaxly i968 The january l948 class was a most remarkable one. The latest statistics on the activities of our graduates tell us that Mary I. Winston is now Mrs. William Brown. Imogene Clayton, Wilma Littlejohn and Maggie King are radio entertainers. Dorothy Owens, Yvonne Williams, Elizabeth Stewart and Mary Daniels operate an employment agency. Henry Thomas, Iuanita Summers, Ganessa McDowell and Earl Preston are famous artists. Iacqueline Rabb, Gussie Smith, Roderick Height, are now on the faculty at Phillips. Geraldine Bass, Doris Hill, Ruby Hooks and Thomas Howard operate the school store. Dorothy Hewitt married Ioseph, Lackey. Alfred Mandeville, Thomas Iackson, Charles Surner- lin and james Griffin are tour conductors. Muriel Brown, Earl Simpson, Shirley Cooper and Adolph Gary are disc jockeys. Charles Frost and Vivian Taylor operate the lunch room at school. Ann Duncan Katie Grice, Rapolla King and Christine Fuller publish The Scholastic News . Shirley Wysingle, Flora Worthy, Mildred Clark, Er- nestine and Bernice Clay are trapeze performers with the Ringling Circus. Viola Saunders, Lillian Taylor, Gladys Coleman and Mae Ebster operate a beauty salon. Frances Green, Vera Wyatt and F lorine West conduct a charm school. Geneva Wimby, Beulah Stinson, Dorothy Wynn teach at Dunbar. Herbert Richardson, Darneau Stewart, Charles Woods and Samuel Williams joined the U. S. Marines. Levein O'Neal, Delores Roach, Mary Robinson and Ernestine Roy conduct a dancing school. Franklin Harris, Iohn Davis, Bernard Watkins and Iames Besley are a radio quartette. A commercial art concern is owned by Vernon Har- vey, Don Frazier, Earl Lightfoot and Leon DeVore. Elvie Glasper, Daisy Ferguson, Yvonne Gilbert and Sallie Branch work in the Internal Revenue Department. Clara Hill, Dorothy Harris, Orange Hudson are insur- ance agents. Marvin Arnold, Iohn Bonaparte, Harold Dennis and Charles Elkins are captains in the U. S. Army. Elizabeth Burrows is Mrs. Albert Day. Helen Iohnson, Willie Adams, Naomi Foster have a day nursery. Dolores Hayes, Gloria Hill, Erma Iones and Pearl Iudon sponsor a Girls' Baseball Team. Ruth Marshall, Evelyn Mason, Mary Pruett and Mary Davis are optometrists. Wilma McDougal married Albert Porter. Eddie Campbell, Beatrice Dawkins, Ivory Patterson and Delores Bond are nurses. Sarah Cain, Mildred Bridges, Ruth Collinsc and Mar- ion Dunn conduct a fine tea room. Herbert Iackson, Clifton Golliday, McClendon Grice, and Lany Hawkins are police officers. Frank jackson, Walter Sykes, Leroy Tolbert and Oggie Young own a taxi company. Sylvester Pulphus, Elijah Skyles, and Lawrence Wes- ton are golf professionals. Alfrena Shelton, Betty Sparrow, Leola Holman and Mildred Hunter are hostesses for the United Air Lines. Rebecca King, Marilyn Means, Delores Squires and Willie Lee Taylor are stenographers. Dorothy Thompson, lean Warren and Colethia Spen- cer are radio performers. Charles Etta Patterson, Thelma Tillman, Annie Whit- aker are photographers. Arthur Roberson and Virginia Washington are mar- ried. Thomas Broadnax and Donald Coleman are lawyers.
