Foreword Education opens the door to a richer and fuller life in the future. When we enter high school, the door of education is thrown wide. The Administration lends a guiding hand as we go through high school years and helps to prepare us for a better life in the future. As we pass through the classes, doors are opened to knowledge, friendship, understanding, and an opportunity to pass through the door into the outside world. Also, in school life there is the door to special events. Upon passing through this door we view the past and catch a glimpse of the future. Athletics opens the door to fine fellowship. There is the excitement of winning and the disappointment of losing. Yet, sportsmanship and school spirit keep us on top. There is the door opened by school organizations which leads to greater friendship, expanding interests, rewarding experiences, and service which strengtlrens and enriches our character. By passing through the doors that are opened by education we gain much to help us live a well-rounded life. We learn much to help us meet life ' s problems in the big world and to help us lead lives of service — rich, full lives. 2

Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1961, would like to dedicate our yearbook, in sincere appreciation, to one who has willingly given much time in the past to our problems. She has continued helping us as we struggled through this year. Our year- book is dedicated to one we have grown to love and to respect very much through these years of high school. Even though her classes seemed tough at times, in them we gained much to help us in the future. And so, MRS. PERRY, in deepest gratitude for all that you have done, our yearbook is dedicated to you. 4
