Colors Blue and White Flower White Rose Motto We build the ladder by which we climb. Poem The curtain is softly dropping down To end our days at Wendell High; And the stardust of memories Is drifting from the sky. Our paths will soon be parting, Each pressing toward a different star; But we ' ll always have these memories Wlierever we are. Memories of all the good times, Memories we hold so dear; Of friendship and learning, and even now. One can hear a grandstand cheer. There were clubs and organizations. Football, basketball, and baseball too; There was the great joy of winning And the losses that made us blue. For those who misbehaved And those who kept up a rattle. There ' ll always be the memory Of a teacher and a paddle. As we tread through this stardust of memories. We could recall much more; But now we must move forward. The Future is knocking at our door.
