OVZWOI' Apple Blossom Timefrthe miraculous gift of Spring to our valley. After a winter's sleep under a blanket of snow the apple trees awake and soon burst into bloom as if touched by a magic Wand. The slopes of our valley are bathed in delicate pink and Spring is at her glorious best. Everyone is joyous at that season of the year in anticipation of the festival held to honor the blossoms. At no other time is the community so united as it is when preparing for the festival. Everyone is fired with the determination to make our festival the best in the world. lust as Spring brings with her a promise, so too do the Apple Blossoms bear a promise--fa promise of an abundant crop in the fall ea crop which is the mainstay of our valley. We of the staff of the l949 Weiuco on the following pages express our thanks and appreciation for the glorious gift that is ours. V U -iq -4' in 'Q If 0 ?-Q Z2 rfb
