Paul F. Furgeson President B. A., University of Washington We are observing this year the tenth anniversary of Wenatchee lunior College. We are indebted to those whose vision and foresight started the college and also to numerous other citizens who have actively supported it. its steady growth and its acceptance by students have definitely established it as an organized educational institution in North Cen- tral Washington. The reputation of a college is not determined by its size but rather by the extent to which it contributes to the needs of its students. lt is the desire of the faculty to help stu- dents gain the most from their lunior College experience. Students themselves have made a significant contribution through their spirit and de- termination to make Wenatchee lunior College a worthwhile institution. With this attitude on the part of the faculty and students continued progress is assured. l consider it a privilege to be associated with a junior college that offers so much promise for future growth and development as does Wenatchee lunior College. New buildings and facilities are now being planned for the college and it is hoped that they will be a reality in the near future. The next ten years should witness great developments. l am sure that the college life portrayed this year will recall, in years to come, enjoyable and worthwhile days spent in Wenatchee lunior College.
