Happy memories go with deport ECCDLLECTIONS of by-Gone days flit through seniors minds as they leave WHS. l-low well remembered are those three eventful years, crowded with activ- ity under the capable guidance of Mrs. Marie Monroe and Mr. Don Donaldson, class counselors. There were those hilarious class assembliesfSt. Patricks Day, Hallow- e'en, Tacky Day. That spectacular job of stage decorating for l949 Commencement eeliterally hundreds of cold storage peonies. Then their lunior Prom, Hawaiian Sere- nade'! -leis, palms, Hawaiian orchids for the Queen, punch bubbling from a volcano! The senior year brought pre-graduation activities galore, some work, some fun. There were occupational aptitude tests, the College Conference, selection of a class gift, graduation pictures and announcements, Tacky Day, Apple Blossom Festival ac- tivities involving many seniors.
