THIRD ROW: Gary Dawson, Jack Jordan, Dorothy Nalley, Becky Lewis, Carol Skeens, Nancy Yost, Dorothy Thompson, Phyllis Coen, Doris Malone, Wayne Porter. The Wellsville High School Chorus under the di- rection of Mrs. Louise Lawton is comprised of 28 girls and 4 boys. To date, the chorus has sung in the Christmas Festival. Plans for the future include the Spring Festival, Class Day, and Baccalaureate. Judging from how earnestly they sing at their per- formances, we know that the chorus students really enjoy singing. SECOND ROW: Wayne Porter, Franklin Jackson, Esther Daniels, Jerry Stone, Emmie Harris, Leonard Johnson. 71 The Harmoneers under the sponsorship and direction of Mrs. Welch have sung for several events both in and out of school. A few of the places at which the group have performed are The First Baptist Church, The Methodist Church and several school functions. Future plans include chapel services. assemblies, and the senior class play. The Harmoneers are comprised of six girls and six boys. One of the newest vocal groups to emerge on the musi- cal scene this year is a group of girls who call themselves the Tenettes.'7 The group is comprised of ten girls and sings at various functions throughout the year. The girls have been well received. We wish them continued success. SEATED: Shirley McDevitt, Judy Dornbk.
