FIRST ROW: Judy Jolmson, Sally Stone, Carole Whitaker, Kay Tice, Linda Mclntosh. SECOND ROW: Jim McCauley, Bob Walker, Mrs. Welch, Larry Lewis. O I The student librarians, who assist Mrs. Welch, offer great aid to students and teachers. They check books and magazines in and out of the library. ln addition to this, they keep the books neatly arranged on the library shelves and keep the card catalogues orderly. Also, if anyone desires to find some infor- mation on a certain subject, he may rely upon the services of one of the student librarians. As a reward for their Work, the librarians are given pins at the end of the year. There are gold pins for three years' service, silver pins for two years' service, and bronze pins for one years' service. At Christmas the li- brarians and Mrs. Welch have a gift exchange. It is to be hoped that some of the librarians will continue in their work by entering into the broad field of library science. The biggest help to our teachers are the student secretaries. These Commercial students are real helping hands. Their duties comprise typing work sheets, tests, grade sheets, organi- zational letters, and mimeographing for a spe- cific teacher. The secretaries, work is gratefully accepted and sometimes rewarded by the teachers. 6 FIRST ROW: Lou Ann Betteridge, Judy Johnson, Kay Tice, Joyce Johnson, Sheila Beohm, Mr. Polesky, Janet Fitzsimmons, Carol Jackson, Sally Stone, Pat Morrell, Theresa Comparetto, Linda Mclntosh.
