DR SEWARD E DAW Superuntendent of Schools Dr Seward E Daw Supertendent of Wellsvulle Cuty Schools has spent many years un the fueld of educatuon Hus furst teachung posutuons were un rural schools and soon he had been advanced to the lob of pruncupal of the Muskungum County Vullage Schools He also has been superuntendent of the cuty schools un Caldwell Dr Daw came to Wellsvulle un 1922 and has been Superuntendent of Schools for thurty two years Under hus guudance the school system has made many advancements the most Mac Hugh noteworthy of whuch are the buuldung of the new Donald Elementary School and the Daw Junuor School whuch was named after hum rom Muskungham College hus Master of Arts Degree from the Unuversuty of Chucago and hus Doctor of Phulosophy degree Dr Daw receuved hus Bachelor of Arts degree from the Unuversuty of Puttsburgh He us co-author ot an elementary spellung book My Speller and us the author of a serues of readers The Successful Luvung Serues The Wellsvulle schools are fortunate un havung such an outstand ung educator as head of uts school system MR WILLIAM MENOUGH Hugh School Pruncupal Mr Wulluam Menough began teachung un 1936 H taught for seven years at MacDonald School and then entered the Unuted States Army un 1943 In 1945 he returned to cuvuluan lute and once agaun taught un We ls vulle For fuve years Mr Menough taught Socual Busuness un the Hugh School In 1950 he became pruncupal of MacDonald School and two years later became pruncupal of the Hugh School Durung hus tenure as hugh school pruncupal Mr Men ough has proven to be an able and effucuent admunustrator Hus tune sense of humor and abuluty for organuzatuon has effectuvely handled the problems that have arusen durung the school years Mr Menough us a graduate of Wellsvulle Hugh School He receuved hus Bachelor ot Arts degree from Ohuo Wes leyan Unuversuty un 1934 and hus Master of Educatuon de 4 .
