Admlnlstrcltlon DR SEWARD E DAW A long and successful career nn the fleld of educa tnon has been achleved by Dr Daw He began teachmg In rural schools and soon became prnnclpal of the Musklngham County Vlllage Schools Then for sux years he was supermtendent of the Caldwell clty schools He came to Wellsvllle In T922 and has been Superlntendent of Schools for thlrty three years The Wellsvllle Schools have made many advancements un der his capable leadershup and the Daw Junior Hugh School was named for hum thus year an recognition of these contributions Dr Daw receuved a Bachelor of Arts degree from Musklngham College a Master of Arts degree from the Unlverslty of Chlcago and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Unrverslty of Pittsburgh Not only has he educated hlmself well but has made significant contributions to the educatnon of others He has written readers The Successful Llvlng Series He IS also co author of an elementary speller My Speller WILLIAM MENOUGH The educational career of Mr Menough began In 1936 and he has been a teacher and admlnlstrator ln the Wellsvulle school system for nineteen years Before enterlng the United States Army IH 1943 he taught at the MacDonald School for seven years After the war he returned to Wellsvulle Hugh School to teach Social Business subgects ln 1950 he became prlnclpal of MacDonald School and two years later became Prmclpal of Wellsvulle Hxgh School The actlvltues and program of studies have advanced under hrs helpful guidance Mr Menough IS a graduate of Wellsvllle Hugh School He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohro Wesleyan Unlverslty rn 1934 and a Master of Education degree from the Unlverslty of Plttsburgh lr' 941 5- I l I I I several widely-used textbooks, including a series of I ' - ll Il , .
