f In September of l95l a large group of bewildered s udents from the MacDonald paro chsal and rural schools squared thesr shoulders and prepared to tackle the four year courses sn hsgh school Confusion prevailed as they frantsc ally ran about trying to find the rooms lssted on thesr schedules After a few weeks thsngs became normal and the new students were briefed on the Student Councsl and elections were held The few who were chosen as repre sentatsves were proud of their selectson The Sophomore year then came and Sslas the year the students dsscovered poetry sn the form of a poetry notebook that all struggled to make The hsghlsght of this year was basketball as thss was when Bevo Francss and the Wells vslle basketball team were sn their glory Despite all thss excitement the year seemed to go very slowly The Junsor year finally rolled around and the class elected officers under the supervssson of Mr Mulholland As class sponsor he gave excellent gusdance The offscers chosen were Fred Carter Pressdent Mske Wslson Vsce Press dent Judy Lynn Secretary and John Msck Treasurer Basketball concesssons several skatsng partses and a movse were topped by the Junsor img.. Clcsss Hsstory Sensor Prom The class members had a lot of fun decoratsng The Prom Chasrman was Cathy Crea and the orchestra was Johnny Chsck s Thss was a wsth Mr Polesky taksng over the tremendous sob The Sensor year came on September 7 1954 when the class was offscsally declared sensors with Mr Polesky taksng ove rthe tremendous sob of Sensor Class sponsor Class offscers for the Sensor year were Wslma Sprsggs Pressdent Joe Jackson Vsce Pressdent Judy Lynn Secretary Bsll Bettersdge Treasurer The class undertook the prosects of football concesssons sellsng of Sweaters The bsggest actsvsty was the prepara tson of the yearbook whsch was etfscsently handl ed by Don Townley Edstor sn Chief Sondra Baughman Associate Edstor and Dsanne Abrams Bussness Manager The yearbook was supervssed by Mr Polesky The class play was wonderfully dsrected by Mrs Welsh and was tstled Father of the Brsde It was splendsdly presented and applauded by the audsence The days rushed by and suddenly Class Day arrsved then the ban quet then Baccalaur ate and finally Commence ment Some of the Sensors laughed some of them shed a few tears and some crsed real hard because they all knew there were none among the class who wouldnt msss the happy days spent dursng hsgh school 'N 2 . u'. -1' I 'Q A ' 6 -T ' , 'W nf I -A' I - . - . - .
