Mr. Larson V 'ij V' LEADER ' CLI B Led by two competent leaders, Miss Ewell and Mrs. Chrirnes, this year's Leaders' Club held a fun filled in- itiation, added to the Girls' Letter System, and perhaps most impor- tant ot all, guided younger girls to appreciate the rules ot participa- tion and good sportsmanship. With their obiectives tulhlled, the Lead- ers' Club can be proud ot this year's work. PORT MA HIP CLUB Planning the fun-loving dime dances, hooking tour chaperones, and confusing their advisor, Mr. Larson, were some of the many items checked oft on this year's list ot accomplishments by the Sports- manship Club. All in all, it was a very successful year and being a honorary organization, each mem- ber worked a little harder to prove their selection vvasn't a mistake. GIRLS' SPORT Arriving late for classes, losing gym suits, and stap- ling broken zippers, signified the unforgettable events experienced by the girls' gym classes during the past year. Crowding a record number of girls into a confined space and keeping everyone happy was the main headache for Miss Ewell and Ivlrs. Chrimes. All in all, participants in basketball, soccer, badminton, softball, and many other helds, ended with few fatalities and every girl, from spry seventh graders to one-foot-in-the-grave seniors, seemed to have gained a few choice bits of knowledge about getting along with her fellow squad members. a break in the difficult schedule was always welcomed and everyone seemed to have obtained a great deal of pleasure in every way. in 1 -Q 9pu4 ' ,- K , ffm .
