TRANSPORTATION Under the laws of Missouri, a plan of transportation of pupils Is made possible. An adequate transportation system brings the high school within the reach of every rural boy and girl who is Interested in securing a high school education. The Inauguration of a transportation program rests with the local Board of Education. The function of the Department of Education is to approve the transportation set-up and to advise with the local school authorities as to how the system might best serve them.
