The Wellston Marching Rockets completed another fine season of performances by successfully pleasing all interested onlookers. Time and time again, the Rockets executed complicated field maneuvers and at the same time played interesting and enjoyable music. This combination provided the average fan with a halftime of fun and thrilling entertainment. The marchers commenced the 78 -79 season by participating in Camp Crescendo. Here, they polished marching maneuvers while at the same time learning one of their shows. After successfully completing camp, the Rockets performed often and won many competition awards, once again earning the title, best band in Southeastern Oh'O.
