THEN SUDDENLY IT’S HARD TO FIND What am I to do? It’s a hard question, isn’t it! Decision after decision is made because they have to be made. Yet, when the chips are down, you somehow seem to come through. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you have accomplished something on your own, just you and your self-reliance. You went that extra yard for the first down, you stayed up until 2:00 studying lines for the play, you gave up part of your vacation to march in the hot sun or you were the one to run those 20 extra laps while others cheated. It wasn't easy but you finished and what did you accomplish from the experience? Self-respect, and really isn’t that what it’s all about. 4

REMEMBER Do you remember . . . Your first day as a freshman, or your very first band or choir show, what about the time you had your chance to be a hero, but instead you fumbled and lost the game, the prom, or your first REAL love? Finally you entered into a whole new stage in life . . . the high school years. Then . . . just as soon as you enter, you are completing a stepping stone in the game of life. This time can be joyous or painful for a graduate. Yet, the thrill and excitment of entering into the world can be a wonderful and exciting experience. It could be thought of in terms of a closed door waiting to be entered and explored. 6
