This year a new program, that of girls intramural sports, was initiated to the growing list of activities provided for Wellston High School students. Under the direction of Mrs. Nancy Kibler, physical education instructor, the girls participated in basketball, bowling and softball. Howl Soudif SfuhjxU %mj The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization. It is a great honor to be selected for this Society. A student must maintain a “B” average to be eligible for membership. The students are selected by secret balloting by the faculty. Membership is based on character, scholarship, and service. The 1970-71 Wellston High School Honor Society edited the Hi-Times and inducted new members on May 13. The guest speaker was Ralph McCormick, the new superintendent. After the induction, a reception was held in the cafeteria for all members, their parents, and the faculty. Each new member received a carnation. fiiuim %mbtu P. Fuller, F. Keck. K. Finn. R.
