Few people are loved as much as these two are by their friends, associ- ates, and students. Through their years at WHS , they have always been will- ing to give generously of their time to any individual needing them . They have always gone out of their way helping to see that all of the school functions turn out the best way possi- ble . lt brings great pleasure to the annual staff to dedicate the 1975 Tiger to Mrs. Ellen I-linkle and Mr. Francis Coulson. May both have the best in life. Adminisfrafion Mr. Frank Bryanf Quperinfendenf In his first year at Wellston, Mr. Frank Bryant has instituted a number of improvements and innovations, such as student and teacher evaluations. In the way of expansion a new gymnasium is scheduled for next year as well as new classrooms being added to the high school building. BOARD OF EDUCATION: These men the well being of the students. Yet without the capacity to communicate or convey this wisdom and creative pondering, people might as well cauterize their minds, stick their heads in the sand, and be resigned to collective igno- rance . Language Arts is a comprehensive attempt to recognize and develop the methods employed in the process of adequate communication. The Language Arts Department of Preparation of the student for taking his or her place in society is the prime objective of the Vocational Program at Wellston High School. Whether the student is enrolled in Vocational Agriculture , Vocational Home Economics or Shop, the knowl- edge and skills gained from these classes will help them in fulfilling their roles as successful citizens. Wellston High is designed to educate through communication expressions in verbal and written form. Creativity and sensitive introspec- tions of students are also goals which are emphasized in the language department, striving to perceive inward notions while possessing the capability of expression. , Language is needed to acquire and sustain a level of education. This real ization constructs We1lston's language department. Participation in FHA and FFA pro- vides leadership abilities by encourag- ing individual and group involvement. The community service projects sponsored by these organizations are instrumental in motivating students to reach out to others. These projects are also planned to promote greater under- standing between youth and adults. COUNTER CLOCKWISE BEGINNING AT TOP: Ellen Hinkle, B.S., OSU, Home Economics, Family Living. I I 'F 9 John Daniel Lorenz In Memoriam Serenity and peace bridge the chasm created by the separation of body and spirit. Worry and cares dissolve into tranquility of the soul. On September 28 , 1974, John Daniel Lorenz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lorenz, collided with fate and became a memory in the lives of many. In remembrance of our friend , John, this memoriam symbolizes our love and deep regret at the loss of his physi- cal presence. It is with tragic humility and respect that such an insignificant token be offered to John Daniel Lor- enz, our schoolmate and friend .
