few people are entirely dedicated to their work, to their friends, and to their fellowman. mrs. kathryn dillon represents all of these qualities. she is loved by both her associates and students alike and has imparted a rare quality of learning to those who have been lucky enough to have studied in her classes. students, faculty, and patrons all congratulate her on the part she has played to help shape the destinies of the young people of this community. recognizing the fact that she will settle for nothing less than the best, as well as her understanding of her students and associates, the staff dedicates the 1972 tiger to her with best wishes. the editors dedication life is beautiful, and in order that it may be fulfilled, it must be lived to the fullest. kathryn dillon

administration superintendent gene hill keeping pace with the rnodern trend in education, mr. gene hill, continues working to up-date the wellston school system. expansion is constantly underway. new innovations are music in every classroom, equipment for making television pictures and monitoring them back on school sets, and the formation of a band. this year the grade school was air-conditioned and all classrooms in the high school building, with the exception of two, were redecorated. other redecorating work is planned for the summer months. mr. hill is past president of the lincoln county teacher's association, a past oea delegate, and is now district chairman ofthe oklahoma respiratory disease control association. h I b d elvin rawdon, president, bill elliott, clerk, leon over- SC ri st reet, vice president, gene c. hill, superintendent, richard ivie, member, o. j. drury, member.
