The officers of the Pep Club th1s year were President, Doris Nederhoff, vice president, Mary Ann Blythe, secretary, naroara Brynes, treas urer, Delores Tack H1ghandSen1or High School students who are inter ested in joining The purpose of the Club is to support the cheerleaders and help them cheer the teams on to vlctory For away games, the members rode on a special pep bus A good crowd of pep club members was present at all games Two buses were neces sary to transport all those who desired to attend the final game of the season at Le Grande The Pep Band is a new addition to the many activities at Wellsburg High School It was organ ized in November with Larry Paterni Cpictured in front with his drum ensemblel in charge It was his Job to round up the membersof'the Pep Band the last period on Tuesdays and Fridays to practice, The Pep Band furnished entertainment at all home games They played popular numbers be tween halves and also between games There were also a few pep meetings where they played in order to get the students into the spirit of winning The Pep elub is composed of all the Junior
