She is triumphant when she blocks their plan for embezzling her husband ' s money, but furious when the husband refuses to reward her efforts by turning the bank ac- count over to her. But Regina is not one who gives up easily. She executes her final stroke when she kills her husband by denying him medicine which would have saved his life. By this crime, she ruins not only her own life but the lives of her family, and the play ends in disillusionment. Moral: If you think your kid brother is a pest, you oughta see Regina ' s! M. D.
