MR. GEORGE L. LANGILLE Springfield College , B . P . E. Mr. Langille is our physical education teacher this year, and coaches girls' basketball and softball. He also teaches hygiene and drivers' educa- tion. His easy-going nature makes him an agreeable teacher. MR. VINCENT R. TRENCIA University of Maine, B.A. Another welcome member to the faculty this year is Mr. Trencia. Be- ing football coach, junior class advisor, and instructor of general science, biology, and civics, he still finds time to attend basketball games and other school functions. His good humor and friendly frankness are genuinely ap- preciated by the student body.

MR. ROBERT A. ARLIN University of New Hampshire, B.S. Being advisor to the freshman class, and teaching P.O.D. , American History, and World History, provides Mr. Arlin with a full schedule. Yet, he still finds time to coach the boys' varsity basketball and baseball teams. In addition to these activities, he is working on his Master's Degree at North- eastern University. MR. FRED S. STROUT Barrington College , B . A . Mr. Strout is a new member of the faculty this year. He teaches general math, algebra, geometry, and P.O.D. , and is advisor to the Abenaki staff. In November he took on the added responsibility of helping with the newly formed school newspaper. His enthusiasm for and interest in the school has won him many friends. MR. CARL E. MERRILL Gorham State Teacher's College, B.S. Mixing knowledge with an atmosphere of understanding and friendship seems to be Mr. Merri1l's unfailing recipe for successful teaching of a shop course. Mr. Merrill not only is the devoted cross country, track, and assist- ant football coach, but has also undertaken the instruction of an arts and crafts course and a mechanical drawing course this year. MISS ELIZABETH M. SNOW St. Ioseph's College, B.A. Miss Snow is another addition to our teaching staff this year. She teaches Latin I, ll, and III, and French I and II. She has also organized the very suc- cessful Modern Dance Club which presented Peter and the Wolf at the Christmas Concert. The community feels that this is an outstanding contri- bution to the school curriculum.

if .rf E-if W MRS. EDITH TWAMBLY Although Mrs. Twambly is kept busy with her job as Mr. Noves' secretary, she is never too busy to help the students with an odd job. Her cheerful dis- position and warm smile make her a favorite of both the faculty and the stu- dents. MRS. MAXINE MILLER It is conforting for the students of Wells High to know that they are safe under the care and observation of our competent nurse, Mrs. Miller. We all appreciate the medical aid she has given each of us at one time or another. CAFETERIA LADIES Mrs. Marion Stansfield - Mrs. Jennie Sinclair These t-wo ladies play a vital role in Wells High School. They ingeniously plan, prepare, and serve thousands of tempting meals for the ever-hungry stu- dents and teachers of the school. MR. LUC CYR One of the most common and most used phrases around Wells High is, Go get Lucg he'll help you. Mr. Fix-it himself, Luc, is a hard working janitor. Without his help and pleasant personality, Wells High would certainly be at a loss.
