Buttons AND Bows li-H owe The Sewing Club starts its sixth year with 22 members. The officers are Marlene Wynne, presidentg Esther Lowley, vice- presidentg Janet Wynecoop, secretary-reporter. Club members exhibited at the local and county fairs. They entered the county demonstration contests and the style review, as well as putting on a local style review and demonstration contest. Fifty per cent of the members won blue ribbons at Colville and were entitled to enter the Yakima Fair where many again won blue ribbons. Several attended a Rally Day at lnchelium. One junior leader attended the State Meeting at Yakima and several members went to the State Club Camp at Pullman. A party was given at the schoolhouse, and the group put on a Game Festival to raise funds to purchase a Pfaff machine. The Club ended its busy and productive year with IOOZ com- pletion of projects, record books and attendance at the Achievement Day Dinner, where members and leaders were a- warded their pins for the yearfs work. This won for the Club a much-coveted gavel. Standing: Ann Triplett, Dorothy Lowley, Doris Wynecoop, Mrs. Sarah Wynecoog leader, Rosemary Eddy, Janet Wynecoop, Esther Lowley, Marlene Wynne. Li-H GARDEN CLUB The l952-55 Garden Club started the year with sixteen mem- bers and finished with twelve completions. Charles Tandy, Robert Wynecoop, and Philip Wynecoop attended M-H Club Camp at Pullman. Those completing their projects exhibited at Colville and Wellpinit. Some exhibits were sent to Yakima. Present officers are Charles Tandy,president5 Richard Wynne, vice presidentg Steve Wynecoop, secretaryg Darrel Hastings, reporter.
