CLASS HISTORY Four years have quickly passed since fourteen Nshyu Fresh- men entered our study hall. Looking over these years, we recall some pleasant memories and others which are not so pleasant. Our first day of high school was August 28, l95O. The mem- bers of our class were Helen Eddy, Philip wynecoop, Robert wynecoop, Marlene Wynne, Suzanne Dinehart, Miles Peone Leon- ard Cox, Thomas Sam, Albert Brown, AQDES Thatcher, Nancy lgnace and Lee, Stanley, and Laverle Rima. Our teachers that year were Superintendent C. E. Cheyney, Mr. Glenn Gal- braith, and Miss Sylvia Miller, advisor. Shortly after the opening of school the three Rima's and Leonard Cox dropped. Our Sophomore year found us with more confidence and less shyness. Suzanne Dinehart transferred to a school in Spo- kane. Nancy lgnace and Agnes Thatcher dropped out that year too. we had the concessions at the football games, where we sold pop and candy to make some money. Our teachers for the year were Superintendent John Estes, Mr. Glenn Galbraith, advisor, and Miss Ermina Davis. The members of our class during our Junior year were the same except for Thomas Sam and Miles Peone who joined the Armed Services. we decorated for the Senior and Sports Ban- quet. we had the basketball concession and a very success- ful dance financially. Also several pie and cake sales were held. Early in April we received our class rings. we were instructed by a whole new faculty Superintendent U. O. Atte- bery, advisor, Mr. Francis Tyllia, Mrs. Phyllis Attebery, Mr. F. Grant Smith, and Mr. Mark Bunsness. The latter re- placed Mr. Smith at mid-year. The following students were enrolled for our Senior year: Philip and Robert wynecoop, Marlene Wynne, Helen Eddy, and Albert Brown. Later we lost one classmate--Albert, who en- listed in the Army. Our teachers were Mr. Attebery, advisor, Mrs. Attebery, Mr. Tyllia, and Mr. Joseph williams. The events that completed our high school careers---our one- act plays, the sneak, the Senior banquet, and Commencement-- made a great impression upon the four students who had the stamina and determination to reach their goal.
