He has helped us to learn not only from books but from experience as well, and has always seemed to be there when we needed help. By dedicating our annual to him we hope to show him in a small way how much we have appreciated the help and friendship that he has given to us. Sdifnrs S The 1970 Memoirs is a part of every member of the class of '70. We have all put a part of ourselves into our last contri- bution to Wellington High School. Our annual is a record of the happy times we have had together as Seniors. It is our hope that this annual will give everyone at least a small idea of what we are to become in the years ahead. We, as editors, would like to thank the entire annual staff for all the hard work they have done and to extend a special thank-you to our sponsor, Mr. Fulton. 2 yfdgiffgf 4 .K Jw, at K. Y X e . f' .' COACH DENNIS BOSSINGER . .recap I would like to take this time to express my congratulations to the athletes of Wellington High School for their participation. In a time when the availability of automobiles, parttime jobs, and other extra curricular activities are so common, it takes a very DEDI- CATED young man to sacrifice his time in order to represent his school in the athletic program. I, as your coach, appreciate this dedication to sports. I personally believe that you will always look back with fond memories of your participation in high school athletics. So often by participation in the athletic program, young men learn and develop such desirable characteristics as usticktoit- iviness , responsibility, leadership, a sense of fair play, sportsman- ship, and honesty. Many athletes go on to be very successful in life because of the very acquisition of these characteristics. So I tip my hat to the athletes of W.H.S. and say job well done. The boys who made up this year'sJ.V. team were rather inex- perienced. I do feel, however, that in most cases they performed up to their capabilities. These boys were always eager to participate and kept improving with each game. If these boys work as hard next year as they did this year Wellington should have a respectable team. W 3255 3 .
