V l BOARD OF EDUCATION O Under the guiding and able hand of these industrious men, Wellington High School has prospered through the years. They have given their time and energy to give this school a better educational system. The members of the board are, president, G. A. Slothowerg vice president, F. S. McNairg clerk, H. A. Richards, and treasurer, O. H. Sanner. Other members are R. A. Enbentraut, Wm. Snelleman, John T. Stewart, and F. M. Rogers. V The board is divided into three groups 11Wo memlbers each. The Purchasing Cloni- mittee consists of John T. Stewart and G. A. Slothotwer. They are responsible for sup- plies of all kinds from waste paper baskets to chalk. The Building and Grounds Com- mittee is composed of Wm. Snelleman and F. S. McNair. They attend to any repairs that need to be made. The Teachers Committee is made up of R. A. Erbentraut and F. M. Claire Matthews l i l 1 We, the Juniors, are 143 strong. Early in the fall we took the first step toward graduation by ordering our class rings. We had our class party on December 16 with Third Hill Holiday and its clash- ing color scheme-red, orange, purple, yellow-as the theme. A Date With Judy, was chosen as our class play and presented with Mrs. Ber- entz, director, on February 11. The concession stand run by the Juniors during the l Basketball Tournament in March along with the pencil sales during the football and basketball seasons completed our plans to give the Seniors a marvelous prom. Our big night came on April 25 when we donned our formal attire and gave the traditional prom with the beautiful Rhapsody in Blue theme. Our faithful sponsors were Mr. Oppy, Mr. Reinecker, Mr. Hall, Miss Pickering, Miss Snyder and Mrs. Smith. I i . . A ..
