In football the team was composed largely of seniors and gath- ered quite a few victories. We have reasons to be proud of our basketball team, too, which walked away with the state championship, again thanks to our senior boys. Credit is also due to the students who so amiably participated in the Glee Clubs and A Cappella Choir. We presented Every Family Has One, a three act comedy, as our Senior Play. It was received with grand ovation. Sneak Day was celebrated with much success, thanks to our sponsors, who helped us in selecting and preparing for it. In our best bib and tucker, we gaily attended the prom, which the juniors gave in our honor. Now thatiour last days are over, we take time to look back and remember the fun We spent in good old W.H.S. and we leave with memories, which will never be forgot- ten. , , '1 if F A 5' Vfjfl-rin, 5,1 C X ij wiki' f v , l C41-Tg,Q K j'6'5 C LW, BASKHB ALL 'YYJ'-Wx n yulwf M A le senio r Boy ep BOUNCE GSXR , J my bw '03 sms snevoexx on-MKWXOVS' 05 NABA1' Fe . 8' whl 0 Nigksv I tewash A er PS fd S GWR Ougb SEN TAKE? We had our class party on December 16 with Third Hill Holiday and its clash- ing color scheme-red, orange, purple, yellow-as the theme. A Date With Judy, was chosen as our class play and presented with Mrs. Ber- entz, director, on February 11. The concession stand run by the Juniors during the l Basketball Tournament in March along with the pencil sales during the football and basketball seasons completed our plans to give the Seniors a marvelous prom. Our big night came on April 25 when we donned our formal attire and gave the traditional prom with the beautiful Rhapsody in Blue theme. Our faithful sponsors were Mr. Oppy, Mr. Reinecker, Mr. Hall, Miss Pickering, Miss Snyder and Mrs. Smith. I i . . A .. 1 b '5- ,bw wha. ,H L. E?,ig., -sl , khvwvwv-,,, . v w g xx 1-11. Although there was not a huge turnout this year the team showed their power all season against tougher competition than usual. Under Coach Hall's able guidance the boys entered Wellingtons annual invitational track meet where they showed promise of a more successful team next year. tr Receiving the greatest thrill of her life at the Bas- ketball Bounce, Arlene Brown was crowned Queen of the State Championship Team. She was escorted by Harold Rogers to the throne in the Ballroom.
