Coming from Quilotta, Chile, Manolo arrived in the U. S. in the middle of August, 1969. He is the AFS son and brother of the Harrison Comstock family, 415 South Main street. Manolo has spent a very active year at WHS really fitting in with the group. The chap- ter and community are very proud of Manolo and feel they have received more than their money's worth. Staying for eleven weeks in Hurstville, Aus- tralia, Dave is living with the John Hall family, 89 Croy- don Rd. On his return Dave will be a Senior at WHS. Class Prophecy Here we are at the luxurious mansion of our former class president, millionaire - Wetherbee, for our 20th class reunion. Even though it is June 5, 1990, it seems like only yesterday we were students back at good ole WHS. Things sure have changed in this world since 1970 and many of our former classmates have made quite a name for themselves. At the domed activity room we find our friends who have made it in the sports world. There on the swing set is Rich Whitney, the 40 game winner for the Indiansg on the Jungle Gym is the famous bat boy, Frank Zuibrick, and doing flip- flops on the slide is the Green Bay Packers' star player, Mel Simmons. Playing on the May Pole is Ed Senghas, pro golfer. Building cities in the sand box is John Richmond, famous bowler. Joining him is Mike Wil- SOF WT10, after three years in acting school, made it as a TV wrestler under the name, Wild Weasle Wilgor. Indy 500 winner, Charley Wilczack, is swinging on the glider. In the first floor study we find some of our classmates who are in the education racket. Sitting in the purple chair, with the elephant tusk arm rests, is band director, J an Goodwin, wearing her safari hat. Rocking in the Kangaroo rocker is the famous opera singer, Cooley, who is reading over the final patent for her latest smoke bomb. Sitting on the stuffed rhinocerous is phys. ed. teacher, Chris Sharpe, who is acting out her wild horseback riding experiences. Downing the nerve pills is Dave Eaton, drivers ed. instructor, and gov- ernment teacher, Rob Tite. Cutting out paper dolls is Mary Ann Kime, kindergarten teach- er, and beside her is head basketball coach Dan Williams, who is cutting out basketballs. Hiding in the corner, wearing his Sherlock Holmes hat and carrying his looking glass is tru- ant officer, Don Ward. Following him, investigating the situation, is the well known school board president, Roger Ferguson, and discussing the matter with him is his vice pres- ident, Mike Land. In the center of the eighty foot rug is Harvard Professor Chuck Davis who is playing jacks with Track Coach, George Joppeck. As we leave the study and ride the elevator we stop to chat on the elevator with Bai Birchfield, who has just received her pilots license. On the third floor terrace we find our well known friends in the government field. Bonnie Gingery, Secretary of Agriculture to the U.S. President Mike Waite, is weeding a flower box. Playing tiddly winks are WAC sergeants Rebecca Hanlon and Chris Oney. Manolo Valenzuela, Chile's ambassador to the US, is playing poker with NASA's chief controller, Jim Comstock. On the seventh floor lounge we find life guard, Gregg Handley, carrying his Blue Dol- phin shaped whistle and wearing his official monogrammed Blue Dolphin shirt. Car sales- man, Bob Trautman, is speed shifting the reclining lounge chair while chatting with the famous pool shark, Texas Tom Tobin. At the bar, with cue sticks in their hip pockets are Frank Simonson and Greg Walters. Bombed after two Shirley Temples is Ken Arnett, owner of the most popular hangout in town, Arnie's Bar and Grill. Playing poker are his employees go- go dancer, Ann Gum, head grill cook, Pat O'Keefe, folk singer, Pam Brow- and, and topless shoe shine girl, Carol Carpenter. Near the aquarium, checking the sharks teeth is our local dentist, Dwight Justice. ln the corner, discussing the business transactions in the White Market, is Jim Henry, owner of Jivin' Jim's Haberdashery and Ed Sutphin, Certified Gas Station owner. Playing checkers is Larry Soboslai, president of the Brighton Polish Club, and his opponent, Karla Saporito, proprietor of a distinguished little Italian restaurant. Telling of their exciting experiences is Sandi Styer, director of the YMCA, and Judy Smith, author of the best seller, Don't Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch. Denny Browand, owner of the nations largest trucking company, compares his exciting travels with Tom Moffir, better known to some of us as Tom Bronson. Lunching in the kitchen we find Sam Hardy who runs a lively business as a mortician and Bill Hamer, top salesman for bird seed. Testing the pasteries is Teddi Tegtmeyer, own- er of alittle antique shop, but rtunor has it that it is a front for a big gambling operation. Noel Gemmel, president of the bank is her 4391 cover agent. Sampling the spiked punch is Fire Chief Ralph Eaton, joining him is Chief of Police Denny Carmen and the illustrious mayor of Wellington, George Norton. We now enter the elegant office of Gary's private secretary, Colleen Sharpe. The oth- er secretaries of the community, Anna Sword, Cathy Smedley, Rose Scyoc, and Diana Krieg examine all the modern conveniences with amazement. Ed Copeland, head physi- cian at the Wellington Hospital and Medical Center is surrounded by his beautiful nurses, Nancy Caruthers, Anita Gallentine, and Sherryl Goss. Diane Croskey can't figure out why psychiatrist, Laurie Cooper is giving her a free examination! County Agent Bob Diedrick is giving some helpful advice to Lana Green and Cindy McConnell, top farmers of the area. On the front lawn, soaking up the sunshine is Sandi Barrett, internationally known de- signer of mod fashions, who is discussing ads with commercial artist Gary Farnsworth. Com- paring notes are actress Jackie Rittenhouse and Playboy Bunny Barb Clem. Hope Gilger, the head of a baton twirling group, is playing croquerte with Sue Schoville, famous sax player- in the National Salvation Army Band. Engaged in a game of lacrosse is Sam LaMacchia, owner of a huge recording company, and his chief technician, Gary Reed. Dave Williams, Chuck Roberts, and Mick Howk, all members of the famous rock group The Spirit of '7O are playing Chinese checkers on the heart shaped patio. Famous singer, Larry Cassidy, is playing stick the seal on the record album, with Steve Brown, well known one man Dixie- land Band performer. In the recreation room, playing shuffle board is astronaut, Missy Harrisg bubble bath manufacturer, Jeanene Horvathg and well known Suzie Homemaker producer, Sue Funk. At the pool table is Linda Brubaker, who is still working her way through college, and inter- national playboy, Steve Burge. Tom McClaflin has already been married five times and has thirty children. Watching their children and comparing household hints are the house- wives of our class Kathy Eaton, Linda Herrick, Kay Kurtz, Diane Hart, Mary Oranski, Sue Howell, and Kristi Dennis. Rolling on the floor with laughter are Gigi McMahon, Mad Magazine editor, Mike Freeman, head joke writer, and Ev Gau, joke censorer. We are sorry to say that some of our classmates could not be here today. Lee Jackson is somewhere in Northern Canada working as a lumber jack. Kathy Jameyson is riding cross country in a railroad car gathering material for her new book, The Surprising Things That One Sees in a Railroad Car. Jerry Heidenreich is in Washington, D.
