Under the able guidance of Mr. Loud and the lead¬ ership of Dick Zaragoza, the Student Council again was instrumental in improving school life and in con¬ tributing to the community. Among the Council’s achievements were the conducting of a very successful United Fund Drive, the proposal for the school to adopt a child through the Foster Parents’ Plan, and the extension of the Honor Study program to the junior class members. Through these and other accomplish¬ ments, the Student Council once again served as a helpful organ of the school. Eyes right! “What do you mean the Student Council votes unanimously for girls’ exclusive use of the new gym?” 28
