Editor’s Message Wellesley an Editors Edward Greene, Editor-in-chief; Mimi Dunakin, Art; Arline Hagan, Seniors; Edward Schmidt, Photography. Leaving a -school we have known so well and starting our own separate ways is a demanding task. Though our high school way has sometimes been difficult, we have gained valuable experi¬ ence from many activities. Looking back, we laugh at many of the small things that seemed so important to us; however, certain events will alwavi remain in our mind. Who can ever forget the loyalty exemplified by the student body as it cheered the team on regardless of the score, or the wonderful sen e of achievement felt through participation in extra-curricular hours, or the lasting friendship developed through common sharing of all high school activities. Our school offers so many outstanding facilities that each student has had the opportunity of participating in some function which helps to develop an exemplary character. As the end of our senior year draws near, we find it hard to believe that we shall be enjoying our last dance, our final athletic game, and closing assembly together as a class. We feel that it is impossible that we ' hall ever forget our years here or the example our teachers have act for us. By our loyalty and enthusiasm, we have tried to return some part of all that Wellesley High has given us. And so, it is not good-bye, for we shall we never forget; but rather, it is a sincere thank you, with the hope that the spirit of our school shall always prevail in us. Edward F. Greene Editor
