As we , the members of the Senior Class , come to the close of our high school careers , thought suddenly occurs to us that we have completed an important phase of our lives—one which , in retrospect , has passed so swiftly that we want to pause and take a breath. After the curtain has been rung down and we have taken our final bows , we embark upon new courses in diverse pursuits. However , as we have seen from the multitude of return¬ ing servicemen , school will always remain a significant part of our lives. With this in mind , we have patterned the Wellesley an after a typical school day , in the hope that it will recall for all of us, and especially for the boys now in the Armed Services , the memories we have gathered here—for many years to come.
