preface 3T has been in the ever strengthening conviction that the experiences of individuals assembled for purposes of educational improvement can be most profitably studied from a psychological point of view, that this book has been pre- pared. The experiences of the group of subjects studied and the experiments made upon them have been recorded with care under the tutelage of those whose names are immediately hereafter enum- erated. The editors wish to thank the members of the Board first listed for the oppor- tunities offered for experimentation.
