We’ll never forget these memories nor will we forget the “Graduating Class of 1982. Their many talents helped bring fame that we could never have achieved without them. The Seniors will be missed, but we have our memories o look back on. Together we made our school spirit what it should have been. But, most of all we’ve made reflections that will never be forgotten. The Outlaws finished the regular season with a perfect 10 and 0 record. This gave the Outlaws the title of District Champs. After the regular season the Outlaws went on to the first round of the state playoffs, beating Coalgate 18-0. After the win over Coalgate, the Outlaws had to travel to the home of the Dewar Dragons, who they had beaten during regular season play. The game was predicted to be close and well fought. Sure enough, the game was to be the closest game the Outlaws had played all year. The final score of 9-13 ended this great season. But these Outlaws are still champs in our hearts. 65 Brian Street All Conference and All District Marty Birdcreek All Conference and All District Ruben Proctor All Conference and All District DEE HINES Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. 1981 Football Season Outlaws 40 Outlaws 30 Outlaws 22 Outlaws 32 Outlaws 58 Outlaws 19 Outlaws 22 Outlaws 20 Outlaws 42 Outlaws 14 Haileyville 0 Wilburton 2 Savanna 6 Kiowa 0 Butner 0 Allen 6 Bowlegs 13 Maud 0 Wetumka 12 Dewar 0 Randy Roberts All Conference and All District 66 Jerry Cooper All Conference and All District Offensive Player of the Year Back Row: Rodney Sanders. MEMBER F.D.I.C. 102 A Final Reflection Through the ages of time We have evolved to this place To be in this rat race Where there is no starting point And no finishing. From an eternity We come to be for only fractions of a second in comparison. Then we proceed in a graduation march To another eternity. What have we gained? Have we lost more? Is life only (or the fool and his folly Twirling on a non-stop merry-go-round ? Who determines the way it's going to be? Many have gone on before And surely many will follow. Some we would have liked to have known But never will. And some we'll never want to forget But we will. And when our bodies begin to run down Like very old timepieces What will be on our minds? Did we live a good life. And are we happy? Did we spend as much time With our friends Listening and laughing? Or was every day a drudgery As we were so filled with bitterness? Who are we? is the age-old question. But I'd rather ask Where are we going . . To the moon, then mars. Then to all the planets and stars? Or to view a science lab That creates life but cannot provide the instructions on how to live. We each have our destiny And we are all more than conquerors But what we are is for each to decide As we take this final trip.
